The Community Development Seminar is one of the courses in the University of the Nations from the Faculty of Humanities & International Studies. The CD Seminar offers training in a Biblical approach to community transformation in all spheres of society. Beginning with the holistic development of the individual and his or her relationship with God, the principles and practices of this course are designed to enable change in varied environments, from rural to urban, with a mindset on the current possibilities of the globalized world.  This seminar equips students with the skills to help communities initiate and carry out strategic activities that will bring life and growth to God’s purposes in His Kingdom on earth.  The curriculum helps the participant cultivate solid transformational knowledge, developmental values, foundational skills, godly character and good relationships. The seminar is both for those who have completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS), the basic school of YWAM and the University of the Nations, and for people who have not done a DTS, but who have a heart for communities and want more training.
