Vision

To TRANSFORM the emerging generation of Balinese through education, training programs, social activities and living out Christ’s life before them so that the kingdom of God may come into their lives.

Jimbaran Kids Club is about:

Children and teenagers discovering their gifts and talents, being helped in their intellectual and social lives, being challenged to be all that God has designed them to be, and in the process experiencing God personally and bringing His kingdom into the lives of their families, friends and community.

Through Jimbaran Kids Club we want to create a positive and encouraging place where we share God’s love through teaching the kids English and Mathematics, art classes (painting, drawing, handicraft), music, computer, dance and drama. It is really encouraging to see how kids, whose “school performance” have not been very good, start to follow the lessons more actively and eventually get better grades. This gives them new motivation as well as gives them a start to work for what they want to achieve.

Testimonies

Chandra is eight years old. Everyday after school, during the hottest part of the day Chandra sells food on Jimbaran beach just so she has enough money to pay for her school fees. Chandra has changed since we met her and her grades have improved. Through Chandra we have had opportunity to get to know her family. It is not only wonderful to see the kids changing but also their whole families. Through relationships with the parents we encourage them to be good examples to their children. As a result the family as a whole gets closer and their relationships improve.
